The fairground and amusement hire industry benefits from a high level of involvement from all major Industry Trade Associations, who consider safety to be the industry’s number one priority. Safety is of paramount importance to G Force Amusements. We pride ourselves on the quality of the equipment we own and operate.
Our equipment is fully tested both structurally and electrically by a chartered health and safety practitioner. This is renewed on a yearly basis.
Each ride and attraction is covered by £10 million public liability insurance and comes complete with its own comprehensive risk assessment.
ADIPS Testing…
The Amusement Device Inspection Procedures Scheme (ADIPS) involves a series of pre-use and in-service inspections, and applies to all fairground rides, amusement devices and inflatable devices.
ADIPS ensures that amusement devices are checked for safety before they are first used and on the periodic basis required to assess their ability to operate safely throughout their working life.
ADIPS is managed by the Amusement Device Safety Council (ADSC) which comprises all Major Industry Trade Associations and is supported by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
We are proud members of the Showmen’s Guild of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The Showmen’s Guild places a very high value on the maintenance of proper safety precautions and played a large part in the drafting of the Code of Safe Practice at Fairs, published by the Health and Safety Executive in 1984. This is the most comprehensive safety manual for the industry ever produced. Since its introduction, the Executive has published the first titles in a projected series of safety manuals covering individual types of fairground rides, again with the active co-operation of the Showmen’s Guild.
Access NI Checking/ Staffing
Our friendly team of uniformed staff are Access NI checked for your piece of mind. They are fully trained on all health and safety aspects of our equipment eg. Maximum users, height restrictions etc
